Job summary

Lehman Daman Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Ohio, an entry-level role with opportunities for growth within the company. You will support Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators across a range of project tasks, with emphasis on safety, coordination, and documentation.

You will develop scopes of work, plan activities, and manage records while traveling to sites as needed. A background in construction or engineering and 1–2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in computer and smartphone use with strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Responsive and able to address requests from customers and field leadership promptly.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Capable of working independently in a remote or field-based setting.
• 1–2 years of construction experience is preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in construction, engineering, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators by assisting with project tasks.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors through the bidding process.

• Manage and organize project documentation (safety records, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, transmittals, close-out documents, and meeting minutes).
• Subcontractor and superintendent coordination.
• Travel to jobsites as required, including out of state.
• Miscellaneous tasks to support project success.

Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

Support Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators by assisting with:

• Ensuring strict adherence to Lehman Daman safety practices and procedures.
• Communicating with subcontractors and vendors throughout the bidding process
• Developing project scopes of work.
• Planning and implementing project activities.
• Managing and organizing project documentation, including safety records, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, transmittals, close-out documents, and meeting minutes.
• Subcontractor and superintendent coordination.
• Travel to jobsites as required by PM and/or Superintendents, including out of state.
• Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the project team to serve the success of the project.
