Job Description

Position Activities

1. Maintain automation systems, create technical documentation, perform software programming, testing, and commissioning at customer facilities.
2. Conduct offshore field services and systems engineering for process and safety systems, HMI, instrumentation, networks, etc.
3. Design and analyze architectures for new projects and existing systems.
4. Manage development stages of automation systems, including requirements gathering, detailed design, software programming, factory testing, and commissioning.

Requirements

1. Experience as an Industrial Automation Maintenance Engineer with Rockwell Automation products in the oil and gas industry (PowerFlex, Drives, Logix Platform, PLC application development, industrial components, networks, etc.).
2. Experience in field installation and commissioning of industrial automation systems and networks.
3. Previous experience in oil and gas or related industries.
4. Proficiency in English—oral and written.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Technician qualification in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Electrical, or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of Rockwell Automation products.
• CREA certification.
• Residing in Rio de Janeiro/RJ region.
• Availability for offshore work on a 14/21-day rotation.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of industrial networks including Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Ability to work under high pressure and face-to-face with customers.
