We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Family Fresh Pack Inc. This pivotal role involves leading capital projects that enhance safety, improve quality, increase yield, and optimize operational performance. The Project Engineer will oversee projects from initial concept through to commissioning, ensuring timely and within-budget execution. Responsibilities include project scoping, equipment selection, vendor management, installation, and startup activities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Finance teams to deploy new equipment, support new product introductions, and expand manufacturing capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment is required, with a proven track record of managing or supporting capital projects, equipment installations, or facility expansions. Experience in food manufacturing, packaging, or consumer packaged goods industries is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of equipment design, project management, and manufacturing systems, along with knowledge of sanitary design principles and hygienic system integration specific to food production. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to work effectively across departments and with external vendors. Additionally, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is necessary. An analytical mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions are also important for success in this role.
