Job Summary
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the full project planning, designing, execution, monitoring, and closure. This includes managing technical aspects, design, team coordination, client communication, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the CCTV and Access Control industry with proven project management experience.
Job Description
- Manage all aspects of security system projects, including CCTV, Access Control, and related software integrations.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage project teams, including technicians, installers, and subcontractors.
- Oversee technical design, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues and challenges during project execution.
- Build relationships with customers and vendors
- Conduct regular project status meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality installations and system performance.
- Manage project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science related
- Possess 3–4 years of relevant experience within the security systems industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems, Access Control systems, and related technologies (e.g., IP cameras, NVRS, access control panels, biometric readers, etc.).
- Experience in ProWatch / Genetec / Hikvision central will be an advantage
- Experience with software integration and customisation related to security systems is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus
