# Project EngineerMC FL - Fort Pierce, FL 34946## Description**Summary:**This Project Engineer I position is responsible for managing smaller projects and contributing to larger initiatives within Marine Components. The role involves a mix of self-directed project work, mechanical design and process engineering tasks, product and manufacturing improvements, supplier and customer coordination, and support for business development initiatives to help grow Marine Components.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**Manage projects for a variety of products and components within Marine Components, including metal parts, towers, flooring, board racks, and other marine-related items, with potential expansion into other products and segments.* Create and execute schedules for smaller projects while assisting with schedules on larger efforts; coordinate with suppliers and customers to meet milestones and track vendor progress* Develop product quotes and manufacturing plans for assigned projects, including design and documentation of proposed manufacturing processes, tooling, and production requirements* Contribute new ideas and solutions to technical and project challenges to drive innovation on both individual and team efforts* Work with leadership and engineering teams to develop and maintain accurate project timelines* Participate in and occasionally lead regular project review meetings for assigned projects, communicating status and supporting accountability* Manage project approvals and associated communications for smaller projects; assist on larger ones* Oversee prototype, pre-production, and sample builds for assigned projects, including scheduling, detailed build documentation, BOM creation, engineering change management, and resource coordination to ensure on-time, in-spec execution* Perform product design engineering and process engineering responsibilities, including concept development, CAD modeling, drawings, design reviews, technical reports, and adherence to GD&T standards (with guidance as needed on complex items)* Provide hands-on manufacturing support including programming and machine trials (ex.
