Cimarron Software Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support Boeing CST-100 Starliner for NASA's Commercial Crew Program at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate with customers and management, and drive execution to meet the work statement.

The role requires 5+ years in project or systems engineering, strong troubleshooting for ground support equipment and flight hardware, and a Bachelor's degree. U.S.

Position Introduction / Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as a part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Key Duties

• Provide engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
• Work with customers and management to obtain approval.
• Lead project execution to complete the work statement.
• Identify performance metrics.
• Plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program.
• Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
• Compare actual results to the baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned.
• Provide technical and integration leadership for the development and execution of the project or team plans.
• Support spacecraft test engineering efforts, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

• 5 or more years of related project/system engineering experience
• Possesses strong troubleshooting capabilities required to document and resolve non‑conformances on both ground support equipment and flight hardware.
• Experience reviewing test plans and reports.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

• Experience with space systems.
• Experience working on a NASA manned space program.
