Job Responsibilities

Responsible for executing capital and maintenance projects, including feasibility, scoping, engineering & design, RFQs, bidding, cost estimating and control, reporting, installation and construction planning and oversight, and project close-out. This role requires coordination and approvals across multiple levels within a large organization, overseeing all project phases and disciplines.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in chemical, refining, oil and gas industries, with EPC design, manufacturing, and operating plant experience. Minimum 10 years as a project manager.
• Proven ability to manage multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously.
• Quick understanding of project scope, complexity, risks, and issues, with the ability to apply appropriate project execution methods.

• Comprehensive experience in engineering & design, procurement, estimating, scheduling, finance, construction, and reporting.
• Adaptability to diverse management environments, processes, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal guidance and limited procedural support.
• Strong rapport-building and communication skills; ability to interface across departments and levels.
• Willingness and ability to work in plant environments under challenging climate conditions.
• Willingness to travel to facilities in Texas, Louisiana, and California.

Technical Expertise

Possesses multi-disciplinary engineering and technical skills, with emphasis on electrical, HSE, process safety systems, and instrumentation. Knowledge of industry standards such as ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, PIP, among others, applicable to projects. Experienced across all project stages—feasibility, bidding, approvals, Pre-Feed, FEED, EPC, and acceptance—along with project control functions including cost estimates, monitoring, scheduling, and reporting.
