Job description

Leads multiple projects simultaneously, including the evaluation and implementation of manpower and systems projects designed to reduce operating and expenses, increase revenues and enhance customer service.

Essential Functions

• Leads the development and implementation of operating plans and performs engineering work, conducting studies, preparing data and developing models and analytical tools for use by engineers and operations.
• Sets strategy which leads to the transformation of business processes and operational tools to enable global excellence. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or another related engineering discipline.

Minimum Experience

Seven (7) years experience in industrial engineering or related engineering experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical, computer and communication skills.

Ability to develop operating plans and conduct studies

Knowledge to set strategies

Ability to transform of business processes and operational tools into actionable tools

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred: Python, R, or similar programming languages, SQL and large-scale data processing, Machine Learning and AI techniques, model deployment, and production AI environments. Statistical analysis and experimental design'. Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Additional Details

This is a hybrid position located in Mem, TN. Must live within 50 miles of the work location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus several times per week.
