Job summary

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD.
  • Programming experience with QSC, Crestron, Extron, AMX.
  • Excellent oral and written communication with ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience with design and installation of professional audio, video, network and lighting systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design audio, video, lighting, and acoustical systems aligned with customer specifications, installation requirements, and profitability goals.
  • Prepare submittal drawings and engineering data, including designs for custom enclosures, consoles, and installation instructions.
  • Test and evaluate system performance to ensure quality and alignment with design standards.
  • Simplify and communicate technical details for customers, sales teams, and Installation Technicians.
  • Document customer and vendor interactions, including dates, names, and concise summaries.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Job Superintendents to prioritize quality control and provide clear installation guidance.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment by collaborating across divisions and profit centers.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time, depending on the job projects.
