Job summary

FLINT in San Francisco, CA seeks an experienced Project Engineer to support small construction projects. You will draft and review documents, coordinate with project participants, and attend meetings to represent the company.

You will assist in developing schedules, monitor site progress, manage submittals, permits, and As-Built drawings, and help maintain logs and records while upholding safety practices and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of project engineer experience on small projects with strong grasp of construction terminology.
• Understanding of MEP trades and building permit processes.
• Ability to estimate CORs, assist in bidding, and assemble project estimates.
• Familiarity with cost control, prime contracts, and delivery methods.
• Proficiency in project documentation, scheduling, safety practices, and construction tech tools.

Job Requirements, Qualifications, Characteristics:

• FLINT is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with 1+ years of experience to perform project management functions on small projects (Good grasp of construction terminology and activities
• Understanding of all trades including MEP and building permit process
• Ability to estimate CORs, assist in bidding, and assemble project estimates
• Familiarity with cost control and management processes
• Basic understanding of prime contract types and delivery methods
• Proficiency in project documentation, scheduling, safety practices, and technology tools (Fieldview, Viewpoint, Team VPT1, Bluebeam, Pype, GCPay, P6, and Vista)
• Skills in business development and maintaining customer relations
• Understanding of fee enhancement, risk mitigation, and client management
• Ability to mentor team members and promote teamwork and cooperation
