RockBridge Search in Salt Lake City is seeking a Project Engineer to join a high-performing construction team. You will support Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews, ensuring documentation, schedules, and details stay coordinated to move projects forward.
You will review plans, manage submittals and RFIs, and help with procurement, invoices, and closeout. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.
We’re looking for a sharp, organized, and motivated Project Engineer to join a high-performing construction team in Salt Lake City. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being where the details matter, the pace stays interesting, and every day brings another opportunity to solve a problem, improve a process, or help a project move one step closer to the finish line.
The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field teams to support projects from preconstruction through completion. You’ll help keep information moving, documents organized, schedules progressing, and project details from falling through the cracks.
You’re the person who notices the missing detail before it becomes a headache. You can read a set of plans, follow a conversation with a subcontractor, organize a stack of project documentation, and still keep your eye on the schedule.
You understand that successful construction is a team sport. You know when to ask questions, when to dig deeper, and when to simply get something done. You’re comfortable with structure, but you can adapt when construction inevitably decides to throw a curveball into the afternoon.
Most importantly, you want to build a career, not simply occupy a position. This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, strengthen your project management skills, and become an increasingly valuable part of the project team.
Great Project Engineers create order in an industry where a lot of moving pieces are happening at once. Your work helps the field team stay productive, helps the Project Manager stay informed, and helps the entire project team make better decisions.
If you’re organized, construction-minded, professionally curious, and ready to take the next step in your career, this could be a great place to put your skills to work.
