Job summary

AV-Tech Media Solutions in Roswell, GA is seeking a Project Engineer to design, implement, and support AV systems, collaborating with clients, Project Managers, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.

This on-site, Monday–Friday role requires strong communication, ability to manage multiple tasks, site surveys, documentation, and keeping up with AV technologies from Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage moving from one task to another.
• Exercises independent judgment in resolving administrative problems.
• Ability to learn new knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver's license.
• CTS Certification preferred, willingness to pursue CTS-I/CTS-D.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers and Clients to define requirements and ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct site surveys and work with installation teams to ensure compliance with standards and client expectations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including system drawings, equipment lists, and manuals.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed AV systems.
• Stay up to date with AV technologies and industry trends to recommend solutions.
• Assist in training end-users and Clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Work with vendors, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure project completion.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Demonstrate clear understanding of AV technology from major manufacturers (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC).

Job description

Role: The Project Engineer, is responsible for the design, implementing, and support of systems related to the audio-visual requirements of a project. The role involves collaboration with clients, Project Managers, and related technical teams to ensure seamless integration of AV solutions.

Work Environment

This is a Full-Time, Monday through Friday, on-site, in-office role in our Roswell, GA office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
