Job summary

Vincere in Oxford, NC, seeks a Project Engineer to lead product design, development, testing, and launch from concept through production. You will create 3D models and drawings, perform analyses, lead prototype testing, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to meet requirements.

This is a TEMP-to-PERM, on-site role with a long-term need; the ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree, 5+ years design/manufacturing experience, and strong project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of product design, development, or manufacturing engineering experience.
• SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD experience.
• Experience with FEA, tolerance analysis, and product validation.
• Experience leading engineering projects from concept through production.
• Knowledge of NPD, DFM/DFA, DFMEA, and DVP&R.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

I have a client located in the Oxford, NC area that has an opportunity for a Project Engineer.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading product design, development, testing, and launch from concept through production. You will create 3D models and engineering drawings, perform engineering analyses, lead prototype testing and validation, and work closely with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to ensure project requirements are met. You will also manage project schedules, risks, and deliverables.

This is a TEMP-to-PERM position and a long-term need for my client. This position is fully on-site in Oxford, NC.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
