Providence Infrastructure Consultants in New Braunfels, Texas, is seeking a Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Project Engineer for a full-time, in-person role. The position offers mentorship, career advancement, and a salary competitive with education and experience.

The engineer will support planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, coordinate with project managers and subconsultants, and prepare technical specifications and cost opinions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Actively pursuing professional registration as an Engineering In Training or Professional Engineer.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with others to deliver projects as a team.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
• Assist project managers, other engineers, and outside subconsultants; develop budgets and workplans.
• Coordinate with permitting and approval agencies; complete technical evaluations and calculations.

Providence Infrastructure Consultants has an immediate opening for a Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Project Engineer to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. The position is for a full-time, in-person, project engineer position. POSITION FUNCTION

Project Engineer responsible for being an integral part of the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and planning projects. In this role, applicant will be responsible to support:

• Project managers, other project engineers, and outside subconsultants.
• The development of project budgets and workplans.
• Coordination with permitting and approval agencies.
• The completion of technical evaluations / calculations.
• The preparation of specifications, drawings and construction cost opinions.
• Construction support services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• 0-10 years of applicable experience.
• Actively pursuing professional registration as an Engineering In Training or Professional Engineer.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with others to deliver projects as a team.
