Job summary

W-Industries in Texas seeks a Project Engineer to support engineering and construction projects by coordinating technical activities, preparing documentation, and ensuring deliverables align with requirements.

You will work with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful project outcomes. This full-time role requires 10+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, with EIT/PE preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in industrial, energy, or construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline.
• EIT or PE certification preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering deliverables including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Review and interpret technical documents, P&IDs, and project specifications.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in managing engineering budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and technical correspondence.
• Support risk management and change control processes.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
