We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Construction Estimating Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to the success of our construction projects, providing accurate cost estimations, risk analysis, and technical assessments for a wide range of civil infrastructure works, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and earthworks.

Description
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates.
Conduct quantity take-offs and develop bill of quantities (BOQ) using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, CostX).
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential cost data and scope details.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
Prepare cost comparison sheets and tender documentation.
Identify potential cost risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project handovers.
Maintain a database of unit rates, historical cost data, and supplier/subcontractor pricing.
Assist in the development of project budgets and value engineering efforts.
Stay up to date with market trends, materials, labor rates, and construction technologies.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating civil construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices.
Proficiency in HCSS, Sage, and Trimble.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulations.
