Job summary

Datrose is seeking a Project Engineer for a customer-facing role in Montgomeryville, PA. You will assist in designing ultrapure water systems and work with the sales team to address customer specifications and requirements.

The role requires strong technical competence in ultrapure water, system design, and experience with SolidWorks to deliver 2D layouts and 3D models, plus BOMs and cost proposals.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering.
• 1–3 years of engineering experience preferred, with a focus on purified water.
• SolidWorks experience required.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, design and quote water systems addressing customer and specification requirements (water quality, usage/capacity, layout, utilities, customer needs).
• Generate specifications, calculations, P&ID and 2D layout drawings; prepare other documentation for proposed solution.
• Create 3D models using SolidWorks for each sold water system.
• Collaborate with sales to present designs and provide technical support for opportunities.
• Provide BOM and proposal with complete costing and defend price points with the sales lead.

Project Engineer

A provider of high purity water systems located in Montgomeryville, PA is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. This person will assist in the design of ultrapure water systems by collaborating with the sales team to identify and address all customer and specification requirements for the proposed solution. This is a customer-facing role requiring extreme technical competence in ultrapure water and system design.

Duties

• Engineer, design and quote all water systems to address customer and specification requirements: including water quality, usage/capacity, layout, utilities, and customer-specific needs;


• Generate specifications, calculations, P&ID and Layout drawings (2D), as well as other documentation that may be required for proposed solution;


• Generate 3D models using SolidWorks for each sold water system;


• Work with the sales lead to deliver above-referenced materials to the customer and address any questions using technical and engineering expertise in purified water;


• Provide Bill of Materials (BOM) and Proposal with complete costing for proposed solution - present design internally and provide technical support for relevant opportunities alongside sales lead to determine optimal price point.

Job Requirements

• BS degree in engineering;


• Preferred 1-3 years of work experience in engineering with a strong preference within purified water;


• SolidWorks experience required.
