Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking a driven Project Engineer - Transportation in our Monroe, Wisconsin office to support transportation projects and develop impactful engineering solutions. You will assist with detailed designs, prepare reports, and participate in planning, surveys, and coordination with project managers.

The role emphasizes independent work within a multidisciplinary team, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience.
• EIT/FE certification required; PE certification a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Capacity to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with detailed design tasks for engineering staff.
• Prepare reports, calculations, and engineering specifications.
• Conduct planning, investigations, and surveys applying engineering principles.
• Contribute to project designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Engage in roadway design, stormwater analysis, water distribution, wastewater engineering, and construction engineering.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and standards.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses for project planning.
• Assist in project documentation and coordination with project managers.
