Job summary

Stevens Construction Corp. is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager with submittals, RFIs, drawings, client communication, production and cost tracking.

You will help solicit bids, manage subcontracts, coordinate with the Superintendent, and develop punch lists; this role is a stepping stone to a Project Manager with Stevens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering required.
• Ability to read and understand construction project documents.
• Experience with project scheduling software.
• Knowledge of construction safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with submittals, RFIs, drawings, project documentation, client communication, production and cost tracking.
• Solicit and qualify subcontractor bids and project scopes, write subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and proposals for approval.
• Develop and manage punch lists with project team.
• Coordinate with Superintendent to ensure jobsite needs are met.

The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with multiple project duties:

• Submittals, RFI's, drawings, project documentation, client communication, production and cost tracking.
• Soliciting and qualifying subcontractor bids and projects scopes, writing subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and proposals for approval.
• Develop and manage the punch lists with Project Team.
• Coordinate with Superintendent to ensure the jobsite needs are being met.

The Project Engineer role is an entry-level position with the intent of growing into a Project Manager with Stevens!

Requirements:

• Bachelors' Degree in Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering, or related degree.
• Ability to read and understand construction specific project documents.
• Experience with project scheduling software.
• Knowledge of construction safety.
