Job summary

Alinabal, LLC in Milford, CT seeks a Project Engineer to lead and execute engineering projects on the manufacturing floor. You will work hands-on to ensure designs meet specifications, timelines, and cost targets while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • 8–10 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage and support technical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.

  • Participate in the testing and validation of engineering designs and process improvements.
  • Assist in training and onboarding team members on technical processes and project-related tasks.
  • Monitor project conditions and notify management of any risks, delays, or necessary adjustments.
  • Support and participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain open communication with the Vice President of Engineering and other departments to support seamless project execution.
  • Lead by example in professionalism, problem-solving, and technical excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of engineering and production objectives.

Job description

The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting engineering operations by combining technical expertise with project leadership. Skills And Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands‑on tasks as needed.
  • Proven experience in a Stamping manufacturing environment required.
Other Details
  • Work Environment: Manufacturing floor with exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Physical Demands: Active role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of materials or equipment (up to 50 pounds).
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for extended hours or weekends as needed to support production demands.
  • Travel: Minimal travel may be required, primarily for training or inter‑facility coordination.
