Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking a Project Engineer for a well-established aerospace manufacturer in the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on leading product development and manufacturing-engineering initiatives to meet schedules and budgets.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, serve as the primary technical contact for customers, drive validation and continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards across manufacturing, testing and documentation.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering discipline with experience in product development or manufacturing engineering preferred.
  • 5 or more years of electrical or mechanical design engineering experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is required for this role.
  • Lead new product development projects, managing timelines, budgets, engineering documentation, and production readiness.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as the primary technical contact for customers throughout project execution.
  • Drive product validation, process improvements, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards while supporting manufacturing, testing, and documentation activities.
