Job summary

Niowave is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage capital projects across multiple programs with a direct impact on cancer treatment technologies. You will oversee budgets, timelines, and cross-disciplinary engineering efforts to deliver scalable production lines and facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in engineering and 3+ years in capital project management, with a PE license and PMP being highly desirable.

Niowave is an engineering playground where you will be engaged in supporting processes across multiple major programs that have a direct impact on cancer patient survival. Project Engineers tap into their prior hands‑on experience in diversified engineering principles and practices to relate to and in support of the technical team in project completion.

• Manage a wide range of engineering capital and facility expansion projects specific to radio‑isotope manufacturing
• Ensure capital project budgets and timelines are executed per plan
• Apply multiple engineering related disciplines as needed, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering
• Manage the design and implementation of commercial production lines, labs and various support systems
• Implement automation technologies as a replacement to existing manual operations

What you need to succeed…

• 8+ years of engineering experience
• 3+ years of capital project management experience

Other things to note…

• Full-time position
• The company’s standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts
• This position will have regular working hours Monday - Friday within the standard operating hours
• There is an expectation of adjusting working hours outside the standard hours to meet operational requirements as needed
• Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area and travel between locations is expected in the role
