Cerris Systems is seeking a detail-oriented project assistant to support our project managers in coordinating schedules, budgets, and reports. You will interface with owners, vendors, and crews to ensure timely project completion with an emphasis on safety and quality.
Responsibilities include documenting progress, assisting with labor forecasts and billings, and developing manuals and as-builts as required.

Support and assist the project manager in assuring timely project completion. Duties may include developing schedules, budgets, progress reviews, billings, bids, change orders, submittal lists and reports. Interface with subcontractors, owners, vendors, and company personnel to coordinate efficient completion of a project.

Education
Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college/university or equivalent experience
0-2 years of related work experience
Other technical experience such as military, on the job training programs, etc. may meet this requirement as determined by local management
May require periods of overnight travel
Normal office environment
Periods of time walking on construction sites
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Frequent activity: sitting, viewing, and typing on computer screen
Occasional activity: standing, walking, bending, reaching above shoulder, climbing, and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
At times will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor-lift, scaffolding)
Safety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safety protocols.
