Job summary

Salmon & Associates in Houston, TX is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to coordinate multi-discipline engineering and design activities and communicate with clients and third parties regarding project scope, status, and technical interface issues.

You will provide concise, factual project designs to enable effective construction and installation while working with other engineers, designers, QA/QC, and contractors. Travel to client sites is expected occasionally.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 5 - 15 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• 2+ years of project engineer experience.
• Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
