Requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, ABET accreditation, and 5–15 years in the field. Occasional site visits are expected, with opportunities in a diverse Gulf Coast industrial setting.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5-15 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• 2+ years of project engineer experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized and solution-oriented.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering and design activities.
• Communicate with clients and third parties regarding project scope, status and technical interface issues.
• Provide concise, factual project designs for effective construction/installation.
• Work with other engineers, designers, QA/QC and contractor teams.
• Check drawings and calculations.
• Visit client sites to evaluate site conditions and project requirements.
