Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a skilled professional to join its global infrastructure team in Greer, SC. You will support engineering activities, ensure compliance, and assist with design reviews and on-site problem solving to keep projects on schedule.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare data-driven reports, and contribute to capability-building and knowledge sharing within the Technical Department. Ferrovial offers challenging projects and a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

  • Policies, Guidelines and Protocols: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards, conducting inspections to maintain compliance.
  • Technical Support: Provide engineering and technical support during the planning and execution phases of the project, ensuring that designs are correctly interpreted and implemented.
  • Design Review: Collaborate with design teams to ensure that plans and specifications align with the project’s technical requirements and objectives.
  • Resource Coordination: Help manage resources, including materials and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and in line with project needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor the progress of the technical aspects of the project, providing updates and reports to the Project Manager on potential issues or delays.
  • On-Site Problem Solving: Address technical issues that arise on-site, working with contractors and teams to find solutions and ensure the project remains on schedule.

Develop clear and precise graphic presentations to illustrate technical and operational aspects effectively for internal and external stakeholders.Capability Building : Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
