Job summary

Alan Plummer and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support diverse water and infrastructure projects across Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Florida.

You will work on challenging assignments under mentoring, helping communities grow while advancing engineering solutions. Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree, are eligible for a Texas PE license within six months, and bring strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, environmental, structural, chemical, or mechanical engineering; Professional Engineer License in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality work products within the scope, guidelines, hours, and schedules defined by the Project Manager/Project Teammates.
• Coordinate information between groups and support Project Manager/teammates.
• Collect, verify, correlate, acknowledge discrepancies, and troubleshoot solutions.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting projects and you will gain valuable experience in an environment focused on mentoring and developing you along your chosen career path.

You will work on projects to:

• provide quality work products within the scope of work, guidelines, hours, and schedules defined by the Project Manager/Project Teammates.
• provide the Project Manager/Project teammates with information and assist in the coordination of information between groups.
• collect, verify, correlate, acknowledge discrepancies, and troubleshoot solutions.

Plummer Teams:

Conveyance, Water Planning, Water Reuse/Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, and Construction Management

The Office Location is Negotiable:

Dallas, Fort Worth, and Oklahoma City

Our Ideal Teammate:

We require an ABET accredited bachelor’s or master's degree in civil, environmental, structural, chemical, or mechanical engineering and a Professional Engineer License in the State of Texas (or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).A minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
