Plummer Associates, Inc. is seeking an Engineer in Training to support water and environmental projects across Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Florida. The role emphasizes mentorship, growth, and delivering quality work with a project team.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited degree in civil/environmental/structural/chemical/mechanical engineering and must obtain EIT within 6 months. Office location is negotiable among Austin/Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited bachelor’s or master's degree in civil, environmental, structural, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
• EIT certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality work products within the scope of work, guidelines, hours, and schedules defined by the Project Manager/Project Teammates.
• Assist in coordinating information between groups and units.
• Collect, verify, correlate data, acknowledge discrepancies, and troubleshoot solutions.

As an Engineer in Training, you will play a critical role in supporting projects and you will gain valuable experience in an environment focused on mentoring and developing you along your chosen career path.

You will work on projects to:

• provide quality work products within the scope of work, guidelines, hours, and schedules defined by the Project Manager/Project Teammates.
• provide the Project Manager/Project teammates with information and assist in the coordination of information between groups.
• collect, verify, correlate, acknowledge discrepancies, and troubleshoot solutions.

Plummer Teams:

Our Ideal Teammate:

We require an ABET accredited bachelor’s or master's degree in civil, environmental, structural, chemical, or mechanical engineering. You must obtain EIT certification within 6 months of your hire date. 0-2 years of professional experience.

Our ideal teammate will be proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel). We are seeking a driven, organized, self-starter with strong communication skills who can work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Salary Range:$80,361 - 95,000
