Sentry Equipment, a ProMach subsidiary, is seeking a Project Engineer to assist with post-sale execution of customer projects and maintain system layouts that align with proposal, production, and installation standards.

You will collaborate with the Sales Engineering team to develop accurate technical quotes and layouts, review project scope, and coordinate third-party equipment integration. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected.

• Participate in project handoff and Sales Release Meetings to document critical details.
• Travel periodically to customer sites for evaluations and support.

• Support quotation and pre-sale activities as needed, including technical quotations, layouts, RFQs, and mechanical/electrical installation bid documentation.
• Participate in project handoff and Sales Release Meetings to ensure critical engineering details, applications, and requirements are clearly documented and communicated.
• Travel periodically to customer sites for project evaluations, meetings, startups, and customer support.

The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting with the post-sale execution of customer projects and maintaining the overall system layouts that utilize the proper application theory, ensuring a seamless transition from proposal to production and installation. The role also supports the front-end sales process by assisting the Sales Engineering team in the development of accurate technical quotes, and layouts that align with customer requirements and follow company product line standards.

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.


• 1+ years of experience in technical sales, design engineering, or applications engineering (preferably in conveyor systems, packaging, or machinery manufacturing).


• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, automation, or industrial equipment design principles.


• Proficiency in CAD software, ERP/CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Excellent technical communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000
