Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Ellisville, MS, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive NPI initiatives from concept to implementation. You will develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments while monitoring progress and addressing risks.

Strong data analysis, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and Excel proficiency are essential. Applicants with a BS in engineering or higher and 3+ years of relevant experience, or 12+

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (MS/MA/MBA) with 3+ years of related experience or Bachelor's with 3+ years, or 12+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience leading or supporting engineering projects in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial equipment, automation, thermal processing, or highly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities with data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers and all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost reduction
  • Utilize data-driven methodologies to evaluate process performance and implement sustainable improvements
  • You will develop metrics and reporting tools to track project and operational performance
  • Support and lead root cause investigations related to process, equipment, quality, and customer issues. You will lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly project review meetings
  • You will support broader engineering, operational excellence, and project management initiatives based on business needs

What Makes You Great

  • You must have a Master’s degree (MS/MA/MBA) with 3+ years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) with 3+ years of related experience OR 12+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline required
  • Experience leading or supporting engineering projects within aerospace, manufacturing, industrial equipment, automation, thermal processing, or highly regulated operational environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis and reporting
