Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. seeks an engineering leader to drive capital projects, facility improvements, and equipment integration from concept to implementation.

You will serve as the primary liaison for New Product Introduction (NPI) and other customer-driven initiatives, shaping scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments. By coordinating cross-functional teams, you will monitor progress, address risks, analyze data to identify improvements, and push continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering or MBA with 3+ years of related experience, or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years (or 12+ years experience in lieu).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience leading or supporting engineering projects in aerospace, manufacturing, automation, or regulated environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across all organization levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support capital projects, facility improvements, and equipment integration from conception through implementation.
  • Serve as the engineering liaison for New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives and other customer-driven projects.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution and achievement of objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, constraints, and schedule impacts.
  • Analyze manufacturing, quality, and operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost reduction.
  • Utilize data-driven methodologies to evaluate process performance and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Develop metrics and reporting tools to track project and operational performance.
  • Support and lead root cause investigations related to process, equipment, quality, and customer issues.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly project review meetings.
  • Support broader engineering, operational excellence, and project management initiatives.

  • You must have a Master’s degree (MS/MA/MBA) with 3+ years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) with 3+ years of related experience OR 12+ years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline required
  • Experience leading or supporting engineering projects within aerospace, manufacturing, industrial equipment, automation, thermal processing, or highly regulated operational environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for data analysis and reporting
