Job summary

Guarantee Electrical Company in Denver seeks a Project Engineer (I and II) to join the Western Region. You will maintain project documentation, assist with submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and support field coordination to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized project documentation using consistent filing systems and naming conventions.
  • Assist with drawing and specification control, ensuring current versions are properly tracked and distributed.
  • Prepare, track, and distribute basic submittals according to project requirements.
  • Organize and manage RFI documentation, ensuring clear questions and proper tracking of responses.
  • Support material and equipment management through effective tracking and vendor communication.
  • Assist with subcontractor management by documenting activities, workforce levels, and schedule progress.
  • Document project meetings with comprehensive notes capturing decisions and action items.
  • Support change order processes with thorough document control and distribution.
  • Organize project closeout by systematically collecting and submitting required documentation.
  • Perform and organize basic material quantity takeoffs.
  • Provide field coordination support with clear and timely communication.
  • Support project teams with coordination and tracking of off-site fabrication work scopes.
  • Apply lessons learned from project experiences and constructively incorporate feedback.
  • Participate in cross-departmental communications to support effective project delivery.
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collect and organize project data accurately to support data-driven decision making.
  • Demonstrate interest in personal growth and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
