Job summary

Actalent is seeking an engineer with a strong manufacturing background to lead process improvement and cost reduction initiatives across production operations. You will own multiple projects from concept through implementation, partnering with production, engineering, and leadership teams.

This onsite Denison, TX role requires extensive Lean/Six Sigma experience and a track record of delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost, while managing capital investments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Proven ability to independently lead multiple projects.
• Experience delivering cost savings and CapEx initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive projects with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting stamping, die cast, molding, or other high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification.
• Prior experience partnering with Manufacturing Engineers, Process Technicians, and production leadership teams.

Work Environment Manufacturing-floor-focused role supporting production operations and engineering teams. Candidates should be comfortable managing approximately five concurrent projects while maintaining ownership of continuous improvement, cost reduction, and capital investment initiatives. A proactive, self-directed approach is critical to success in this position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denison, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
