Job summary

Actalent in Kentucky is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and product quality. You will collaborate with project management and cross-functional teams to support installations, new launches, and capital projects.

Responsibilities include developing equipment standards, troubleshooting plant processes, and assisting in the development of new products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years of related manufacturing experience.
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of AUTOCAD and/or other computer-aided design tools.
  • Nice to Have - 2+ years of experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience with Machining
  • Robotics/PLC Knowledge

  • Responsible for daily monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, and product quality.
  • This role develops and writes equipment and process standards, troubleshoots process and equipment problems, and assists in the development of new products.
  • Will work closely with project management and cross-functional teams to support installations, new launches, and special/capital projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement throughout the plant.
  • Will have a role in the development of equipment PM’s.
  • May use CAD for tooling, jig, and/or fixture design.
  • Will communicate with vendors and suppliers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
