Job summary

L7 Construction, Inc. is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on water and wastewater construction projects across Central Florida.

You will work closely with field teams, superintendents, and clients to ensure efficient execution and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in construction or project engineering, a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 1–3 years of construction or project engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
  • Basic knowledge of water/wastewater systems and construction processes.
  • Familiarity with construction plans, specs, and technical documents.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Procore experience is a plus; proficient in Microsoft Excel.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, superintendents, and field teams to keep projects on time, within scope and budget.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and material procurement activities.
  • Support the preparation and submission of project reports and documentation.
  • Review and assist with managing project specifications, drawings, and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
  • Assist with managing subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate with clients and team members.
  • Provide technical support to field teams and troubleshoot construction issues.
  • Maintain project records, including submittals, change orders, and RFIs.
  • Contribute to a safe, collaborative, and efficient work environment.

Job Overview:

L7 Construction, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager in coordinating and managing water and wastewater construction projects. You will work alongside the field team, Superintendents, and clients to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the coordination and execution of water and wastewater construction projects, including treatment plants, pipelines, and system upgrades.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
