Job summary

Munters, a global leader in energy‑efficient climate solutions, seeks a Project Engineer in Daleville, VA to support custom HVAC system design for data centers and commercial clients. You’ll be involved from concept to production, creating drawings and documentation and driving design improvements.

Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into engineered solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and resolving production challenges while supporting cost optimization.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• HVAC knowledge preferred but not required

What You’ll Do

• Create mechanical drawings, BOMs, and project documentation
• Support manufacturing and resolving production challenges
• Drive design improvements and cost optimization (DFM)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Translate customer requirements into engineered solutions

What We’re Looking For

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools
• Strong problem‑solving, organization, and communication skills
• HVAC knowledge preferred (not required)
