You will be the Project Engineer for Lockheed Martin's Missiles & Fire Control Operations Engineering team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑impact facilities projects that enable Lockheed Martin’s mission success.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for driving the planning, execution, and delivery of facilities projects across the organization. Serving as the primary liaison among Facilities, Program Management, Production Management, and functional leadership, you will develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status artifacts to ensure timely project outcomes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Project Planning & Scheduling
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
  • Maintain baseline schedules, track critical paths, and update forecasts in response to scope changes or risks.
  • Cross Functional Coordination
  • Partner with Facilities, Program Management, Production, and Engineering, teams to define requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings, capture action items, and close loops on decisions.
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Produce and distribute regular status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high‑pressure, fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, from shop floor to executive leadership.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Desired Skills
  • 2-3 years of project engineering or coordination experience on construction/facilities projects.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment for the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Proficient with project scheduling tools (MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of capital project planning, construction coordination, and large‑scale equipment integration.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Trained.
  • Understanding or previous experience with SAP
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
