Job summary

Barnhart Energy Company is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Project Team as a technical resource for heavy lifting, specialty rigging, and risk management.

You will perform field walk downs on jobsites to support office layouts in AutoCAD for heavy lifts/transports, learn Barnhart rigging equipment, and assist with design calculations under a senior engineer.

Responsibilities

• Perform field walk down assessments of jobsites to facilitate office layouts of jobs in AutoCAD to perform heavy lifts / transports.
• Obtain working knowledge of Barnhart heavy lift and specialty rigging equipment to be able to provide solutions to customer needs.
• Perform minor design calculations and develop details under the direction of a senior design engineer.
• Function as technical liaison for critical lifts – includes risk management functions and safety evaluations of projects.
