Job summary

HC Company in Idaho seeks a Project Engineer to support estimating, pre-construction, and business development, upholding integrity, teamwork and excellence.

You will manage multiple projects, review plans for constructability, maintain document control, and assist with procurement, takeoffs, contracting and QA/QC, while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience in project engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Efficiently manage multiple projects, ensuring critical tasks are executed to maintain project timelines.
• Conduct thorough reviews of plans and specifications to identify conflicts and ensure constructability.
• Manage document controls meticulously, including submittals, project closeouts, RFIs, and transmittals.
• Track materials procurement and assist with material takeoffs to support project scheduling.
• Assist with project contracting, buyouts, and quality assurance/quality control efforts.
• Actively participate in site safety initiatives and collaborate with subcontractors to ensure compliance.
• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore to streamline project documentation and communications.
• Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency while maintaining our high standards of quality and professionalism.
