CHEP is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our Supply Chain Engineering team. You will lead capital equipment and facility improvement projects across our manufacturing and supply chain network, partnering with Operations, Safety, Quality, Finance, and Engineering to deliver on time and within budget.

You will manage scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring risk controls, regulatory compliance, and sustainable performance improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Project Management experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital equipment and facility improvement projects from planning through implementation.
  • Develop project scopes, equipment layouts, timelines, budgets, and business justifications.
  • Prepare capital expenditure requests and support project approval processes.
  • Manage project execution activities, including vendor selection, RFPs, and procurement.
  • Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and training.
  • Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Track progress, costs, risks, and milestones; ensure closeout documentation.

In this role, you will lead capital equipment and facility improvement projects that drive operational excellence, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction across our manufacturing and supply chain network.You will partner closely with Operations, Safety, Quality, Finance, and Engineering teams to manage projects from concept through execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to performance expectations.
