Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Project Engineering, Substation design/operations, or BESS.
  • Experience with power system tools (ETAP, SKM, PSCAD) is a plus.
  • Experience in renewable energy, utilities developers or EPC firms.
  • Travel up to 25%.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer with hands‑on experience in Electrical Engineering, Substation systems, and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In this role, you will support the engineering, design, and delivery of power infrastructure projects from early scoping through commissioning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and utility partners to ensure high‑quality, on‑time project execution.

Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • 3–5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Project Engineering
    • Substation design/operations
    • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
    • Working knowledge of electrical design standards and industry codes.
    • Experience with power system tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, PSCAD) is a plus.
  • Has worked in the renewable energy sector, utilities developers or EPC firms
  • Seeking a strong team player with hands‑on experience working with switchboards, transformers, and inverters
  • Strong communication skills are essential; this individual should be articulate and confident
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Familiarity with protection & control design, relay settings, or SCADA integration.
  • Exposure to project management principles (scheduling, cost tracking, risk mitigation).
  • OSHA, PMP, FE, or PE-in-progress is a plus.
