Job summary

Charter Mechanical Contractors in Arizona is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to assist with project proposals, material tracking, and scheduling. This role provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those with some industry experience, along with comprehensive training.

We are currently seeking to fill positions for a Project Engineer/ Assistant Project Manager to join our team. Working under the supervision of a Project Manager, the duties included with this entry level management position will include assisting with:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preparation of project proposals and estimates
• Purchasing and tracking of materials for installation
• Labor productivity tracking
• Contract documentation, submittals, CO and RFI logs
• Schedule development
• Supporting our field supervisors by providing information needed for efficient installation of the work
• Provide project status updates to our customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar major is preferred.
• Or, related industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Organized and willing to support the team’s goals.
• Interest in construction and willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
