Job summary

NBA Venue Operations is seeking a Project Employee to support live events and venue operations during peak periods. The role involves coordinating event operations, vendor management, and documentation for high-profile NBA events and affiliate league events.

The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Some travel domestically and internationally is required, with a remote work option one day

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in Business, Event Management, Marketing or Communications preferred.
• At least 1 year in event management or venue operations.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with data analysis skills.
• Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

WORK OPTION: The NBA currently provides eligible employees the option of working remotely one day per week._________________This is a temporary position with an expected duration not to exceed (10) months.Position Summary:The Venue Operations Project Employee will be involved in our busiest time of year and help support the operations of live events and venue operations. The role will contribute to event operations, venue logistics, vendor management, and event documentation. The optimal candidate should have strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. Previous experience or exposure to venue operations preferred.This role will develop relationships with both internal and external business stakeholders, key vendors, and NBA venues to assist with executing venue operations for the highest value media-driven NBA Events such as NBA All-Star, NBA Finals, and NBA Global Games; and support of affiliate league events for the WNBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League and USA Basketball.
