Job summary

NBAT2 Media, a joint venture between the NBA and Take-Two Interactive, seeks a Creative Ops Intern to support our fast-paced video team in producing social, YouTube, and branded content. You will assist in pre-production, on-set setup, and post-production organization while learning across departments in a collaborative, small-team environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and ready to take on responsibilities across production stages.

Qualifications

The brand will create and curate authentic digital entertainment featuring NBA players and influencers. This content will span the full basketball culture universe, including fashion, music, art, gaming, business, and much more. At the heart of the brand are immersive events and a must-watch, competitive tour featuring NBA stars and influencers playing NBA2K, the world's second most popular sports franchise video game.PositionThe Creative Ops Intern plays a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role in supporting NBAT2 Media’s fast-paced video team in creating compelling digital content across platforms. As an intern, you’ll gain valuable experience assisting in all phases of production—from pre-production planning and on-set support to post-production organization and content delivery.You will work closely with creative producers and creative operations to contribute to a high volume of video projects, including short-form social content, YouTube videos, and branded videos. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of digital video production and contribute meaningfully to a small, collaborative team.The ideal candidate is a proactive, resourceful self-starter with a strong interest in learning and working in various departments across digital media. You should be organized, eager to learn, and ready to jump in wherever needed.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Production SupportAssist in research, script formatting, and shot listing for upcoming shootsPull and organize archive clips for upcoming productionsHelp scout and confirm locations, props, and talent as neededCoordinate shoot logistics including gear prep, run-of-show documents, and call sheetsOrganize and track production assets, such as music, B-roll, and archive footageHandle pick-ups, drop-offs, and general runs for the teamOn-Set Production AssistanceSupport setup and breakdown of equipment, lighting, and audio gearManage sound recording on-set as neededAct as a production assistant during shoots, helping with talent wrangling, slate management, and behind-the-scenes coverageTake detailed production notes and continuity logsPost-Production & Content DeliveryHelp organize and log footage and maintain asset naming conventionsCollect archive and stock footage and organize for editors and creative producersAssist editors with pulls, rough cuts, or transcription when neededEdit short form social cuts and video as assignedContribute to performance tracking and post-mortem documentation for completed projectsReview and tag all published content across channelsTeam Collaboration & Administrative TasksAttend and participate in team standups, brainstorms, and production meetingsHelp build team decks and process documentationHelp maintain production calendars and task boardsSupport day-to-day office and gear organizationDesired Qualifications & RequirementsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in film, media production, communications, or a related fieldStrong interest in video production, coordination, and online content creationFamiliarity with cameras, lighting, and audio equipment is a plusBasic understanding of editing software (Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro)Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time managementWillingness to learn, take initiative, and work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift and transport gear, and to work flexible hours depending on production needsBonus: Experience with social platforms like TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram ReelsHow to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experienceSalary Range:$26/HourJob Posting Title:Supplemental StaffEmployees currently are eligible to receive an annual discretionary performance bonus, awarded at the sole discretion of the Company and subject to any terms and conditions set by the Company.
