Plummer Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Electrical Engineer to support Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls design on diverse projects. The role offers mentorship and growth as you develop expertise in electrical and I&C engineering.

The position requires mid-level experience and a PE license or the ability to obtain within six months of hire. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; Master’s with 3+ years; PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience in power distribution, lighting, grounding, instrumentation, P&IDs, and/or SCADA networks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Engineer on multiple design projects with autonomy.
• Generate calculations: load, short circuit, arc flash, conduit sizing, voltage drop, lighting.
• Evaluate options, prepare drawings, specs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Conduct periodic construction observation site visits and write field reports.
• Train and mentor interns and entry-level engineers.
