Job summary

Xcel Energy in the Denver area is seeking a Senior Program/Project Manager to provide strategic leadership and direct management for major projects in the MPG. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
Minimum eight years combined gas or electric utility experience in engineering or an equivalent.
Ability to motivate others and to manage projects.
Ability to multitask and interact with diverse work groups.
Familiarity with regulations applicable to engineering/construction projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee design relocations of gas/electric distribution facilities and coordinate engineering of electric transmission and high-pressure gas.
Negotiate work requests and execute Utility Relocation Agreements; manage schedules, ROW, licenses and easements.
Serve as single point of contact with stakeholders and contractors; coordinate with T&D and gas teams.
Manage field relocations to minimize downtime and meet project timelines.
Coordinate timely invoice reimbursements and report project status to stakeholders.
