Job summary

Leong Leong, an internationally recognized architecture studio based in New York, seeks a Project Director (licensed) or Senior Project Manager (unlicensed) to lead multiple institutional, mixed-use, and commercial projects in NYC. You will guide teams from concept to Construction Administration, collaborate with Partners, and ensure delivery aligns with the firm's design standards and values.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of building codes, and proficiency in AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Licensed architect in New York State, or licensed in another US jurisdiction and eligible for NY reciprocity.
• 8+ years of professional experience in architecture on institutional, mixed-use, and commercial projects.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong design and project management skills; track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication skills with clients, team members, and firm leadership.
• Ability to work independently: build work plans, set goals, and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects from concept to Construction Administration.
• Allocate resources for project teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; report progress to Partners.
• Serve as main client contact and align expectations with firm.
• Ensure deliverables meet design and quality standards.
• Set QA/QC criteria and conduct regular drawing reviews.
