Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Director to lead delivery of mission-critical construction projects on-site in Reno, NV. The role provides strategic oversight across all project phases, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, and quality goals while maintaining strong client relationships and proactively managing risk.

The position is a 6- to 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of construction leadership, experience with mission-critical or data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in construction leadership.
• Mission-critical or data center projects preferred.
• Campus-scale programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, L1-L5 testing, equipment startup, and system turnover.
• Experience with project scheduling, troubleshooting, RFIs, and change order management.

This role ensures projects meet safety, financial, schedule, and quality objectives while maintaining strong client relationships and proactively managing risk. The Project Director serves as a key leader in advancing the organization’s mission-critical market presence, guiding teams through complex technical and commercial challenges, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and industry best practices. This will be a 6- to 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity located on-site in Reno, NV.
