Job summary

BMS CAT, a National Leader in Disaster Restoration, seeks a Project Director to estimate mitigation work for fire, water, flood, and other losses on residential and commercial properties. You will bid accurately, partner with insurers and owners, and drive new business through strong relationships and industry presence.

Responsibilities include preparing bids, developing referral networks, and supporting marketing efforts to ensure profitable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on estimating experience in residential and commercial projects.
• Experience using Xactimate (highly preferred).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication with residential and commercial property owners.
• Experience with time and material estimating (preferred).

Position Summary

As a Project Director, you will be responsible for estimating mitigation work related to fire, water, flood, and other property losses affecting both residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with insurance companies, adjusters, TPAs, and property owners to ensure projects are bid accurately, competitively, and profitably. This role combines technical estimating expertise with relationship-driven sales. You will cultivate long-term partnerships with adjusters and insurance representatives to generate consistent project referrals, attend industry events, support marketing presentations, and actively drive new business opportunities.
