Job summary

Keystone Engineering Inc. is seeking a Project Director to join our Port Arthur team. The role focuses on directing projects, maintaining strong client relationships, and coordinating with multiple departments to fulfill customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, 15+ years of experience, and proven analytical and communication skills. Occasional site visits are expected as part of travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the client’s representative to meet demands and improve customer experience.

• Assist with multi-discipline engineering and design activities.
• Provide project control documentation including design, estimation, procurement, field assessments, contracting, scheduling, construction, closure, and status reporting.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Responsibilities:

• Communicating with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed
• Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers
• Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
• Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires
• Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience
• Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
• Assist with multi-discipline engineering and design activities
• Provides project control documentation as required ,including: project design, project estimation, material/equipment procurement, field assessments of existing infrastructure, contracting requirements ,scheduling requirements, construction requirements, project closure requirements, status reporting

Requirements:

• B.S. in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 15+ years of experience
• Critical analytic skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate

Experience Preferred:

• P.E. license
